Trelleborg launches HMF FlatSeal™, a new range of flat gasket materials for effective static sealing in low and high temperature applications. The range includes specialized materials for use with chemicals and aggressive media in the aerospace, automotive, marine, oil and gas, food and beverage, chemical processing and pharmaceutical industries.
Flat seals are essential in all types of objects, products and machines. They act as a static sealing element between two flat surfaces and are used to connect different parts such as valves, fittings, pipes and pumps. In addition to effectively sealing the flanges, they also compensate for flange irregularities.
